    “Vantage Point” Movie Review

    “Vantage Point” Plot Summary

The attempted assassination of the American President is told and re-told from several different perspectives.

    Fun Crime Thriller

I really liked this movie for what it was. I’m not really sure what other people were expecting to give it what I believe to be unfair and too harsh critiques, but this is a good movie. It is not perfect, nor is it great, nor did it show me something I have never seen before, but it is a nice little crime thriller done in a unique manner

I have read that a lot of people felt that it was boring to see the same story played out over and over. But wasn’t that the point of this film? We knew that was going to be the case coming into this movie. And the thing of it is is that there is enough different in each perspective where it is not a bore to see the same instance multiple times. I liked how it was up to the viewer to try to piece things together and figure out exactly what happened and who the culprit really is. This is a good movie if you are not looking for anything great or mind blowing. I do enjoy when I see a great, mind blowing film, but I’m not expecting it every time that I sit down to watch a movie. I do not see any reason to dislike this movie. It’s good for what it is and if you’re in the market for an entertaining, ‘who dunnit?’ crime thriller I say ‘Vantage Point’ makes for a fun watch.

    Fast & Furious 3 : Tokyo Drift

Great movie, great cars but very poor acting performance. Me together with a lot of friends are looking forward to the next : FAST AND THE FURIOUS 4 – THE ULTIMATE CHALLENGE. If they haven’t started it yet a good scenario would be that each country : USA, Japan, Germany, France, Italy, UK are sending their best drivers and cars to a secret place for the ultimate race to find out who is going to be the fastest & furious in the world. We in Belgium have just one little request. Please contract again Vin Diesel and Paul Walker because they are the only one capable to give an extra dimension to the cult of FAST AND THE FURIOUS. Gazoline regards, Tom

    “The Hangover” Movie Review

    “The Hangover” Plot Summary

A Las Vegas-set comedy centered around three groomsmen who lose their about-to-be-wed buddy during their drunken misadventures, then must retrace their steps in order to find him.

Funniest ‘guy movie’ since Wedding Crashers

Absolutely loved this movie. The theatre was all laughs through the whole movie. Don’t go expecting a cinematic masterpiece but if you are looking for out of control laughter this is your flick. The story was funny the acting was hilarious and I don’t want to spoil it but the end was so funny my wife hurt her ribs (no I’m not kidding) from laughing so hard. I am going back to see this movie again. And I don’t do that often, but for any guy with a sense of humour or has ever been to a bachelor party (or can’t wait to go to a rockin’ bachelor party) this is a must see movie.

    “The Princess Diaries” Movie Review

    “The Princess Diaries” Plot Summary

A socially awkward but very bright 15-year-old girl being raised by a single mom discovers that she…

Great Movie for the ‘Awkward’ Girl in All of Us.

I remember when I first watched this movie. I was an intensely tomboyish preteen and pretty much against all media with the word ‘Princess’ even associated with it. Needless to say, I was not super excited when my cousins came over and popped this bad boy(err..girl) in our VCR. I honestly didn’t expect much: Disney, princess, tiaras, romance, please

But as I began watching it, I soon realized that I identified completely with Mia,(Anne Hathaway) an extremely awkward teenage girl who was rebellious, weird, unpopular, and yet, was offered the one thing that almost all teenage girls dream of: princess-ship, complete with new looks, limos, balls, gowns, hot guys, and power. Whoop!Yet, she practically had to be dragged into it kicking and screaming. Forget preppy hair do’s! Just leave me alone! Here was a princess story I could relate to! Mia wasn’t some whistling girl with a pure heart who caught birds on her fingers while working at a terrible job, that really wasn’t that terrible because she made it fun! She was an ungraceful chick who had learned to cope with the hardships of life, but not in the usual way. Everything about her was weird, and she liked it like that

But Mia had to grow up during this movie. She went from awkward to awesome in a matter of two hours. I loved the transformation were she went from laughed at, to applauded for by the end when she slams ice cream all over Lana’s(Mandy Moore) cheer leading outfit(something I personally loved because I was not particularly fond of cheer leading at this point..) Overall, great chick/ teen girl flick. It makes you believe that no matter how messed up your life is or you are, you still have a chance to be some super cool girl. And who doesn’t want to be a princess? Really.

Must-See Film, Last part is best

I’d recommend it as a Must-See Film, of which I particularly liked the last part of the film, where you can actually feel the emotions inside it. Travolta does an excellent job and I wonder if anyone could do it better.

    “Blade Runner” Plot Summary

Deckard, a blade runner, has to track down and terminate 4 replicants who hijacked a ship in space and have returned to earth seeking their maker.

    The Best of the Best

Ridley Scott’s film Blade Runner is, quite simply, the most awe-inspiring and breathtaking film made to this date. The opening shots of the movie will be permanently burned into your memory. This film has made such an impact on movie-making that it is almost impossible that another science fiction film can be made without any influence from this movie. The compelling story, the terrific direction and editing from frame to frame, and most of all, the cinematography will blow you away. The cast is perfect, each bringing something wonderful to their characters that you’ll forever remember them from this performance. Rutger Hauer in particular shines, stealing the film with every scene he’s in. This film should be on every top 10 list out there. Movie magic at its best!

“Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves” Movie Review

“Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves” Plot Summary

When Robin and his Moorish companion come to England and the tyranny of the Sheriff of Nottingham, he decides to fight back as an outlaw. add synopsis

    Just one word: Brilliant!!

***MAY CONTAIN LITTLE SPOILERS***I watched ‘The Prince of Thieves’ once again two days ago and it is still one of the most brilliant movies ever made. Despite the fact the crew had so many obstacles while making the film

Robin of Locksley (Kevin Costner) returns to England from his crusades with a Maori warrior Azeem (outstanding Morgan Freeman) and finds out that the evil sheriff of Nottingham (superb Alan Rickman) has taken over his fathers lands. From that one there begins a war to make a difference in sheriff’s terrorizing Nottingham. Robin becomes Hood and he is fighting to give the good days back to the people as they deserve it. There is a little bit of everything in the film. There is adventures, excitement, romance, humor, action. Everything you could ever wish from the great, enjoyable film! If you liked ‘The Adventures of Robin Hood’ starring by Errol Flynn you will also enjoy this timeless story about the man who stole from the rich and gave it to the poor! The film making was a struggle right from the start. The producers had some difficulties to hire a competent director to the job. Even the production manager and the other heads of department were hired before the director. There was a bit hurry to make ‘Prince of Thieves’ because there was two other Robin Hood pictures coming. They were just like in a race. Then a man called Kevin Reynolds was hired to the job of directing. Then the production team was short of lead actor to play Robin. Other major parts Morgan Freeman, Alan Rickman and Christian Slater were already in place. Robin Wright was replaced with Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio to play Maid Marian because of Wright’s pregnancy. Then there came Kevin Costner. He only signed up for the job because of Kevin Reynolds. After casting everybody the working team came across the difficulty of the lack of enough time. There was also some rough times between Costner and Reynolds. Even the guys had some disagreement the film opened in the year 1991 and managed to snatch a 25 million dollars at the opening weekend and was later going to bag 390 million dollars worldwide. Not bad if the production had some of bad critic and problems behind them. Obviously even Costner and Reynolds managed to put their hatred aside because later they teamed up in the flop ‘Waterworld’ which was by the way then (1995) the most expensive movie in the world! (Whopping 175 million dollars spent) Even if the film contains some of the most disturbing mistakes in film making it does not effect on the result. So what if Robin’s hair is suddenly turn from wet to dry and again back to wet it does not reflect to the essence of this marvelous piece of history. It is worth waiting the last scene where legendary Sean Connery makes an appearance as King Richard the Lionheart! (Connery donated his 400,000 dollar fee to charity)The legendary and undying ballad ‘Everything I Do (I Do It For You) by Bryan Adams is the best movie theme song in the history of film making!Worth to watch with it’s faults and all!
