    “Miss Undercover” Plot Summary

An FBI agent must go undercover in the Miss United States beauty pageant to prevent a group from bombing the event. add synopsis

    Wonderful comedy, unmissable!

I absolutely loved Miss Congeniality, it was funny warm and completely likable. The best aspect was the charming and funny performance of the underrated Sandra Bullock as Gracie, in possibly her best role. Gracie is a beautiful woman, but her behaviour like the pig snorting isn’t very typical of women. She is excellently supported by a witty, side splittingly funny script, and some lovely camera-work. (the painting scene was priceless)Not to mention the original plot that never marred the feel good nature of the film. The performances of Michael Caine and Candice Bergen were excellent. But if I had one minor criticism, it would be that William Shatner slightly overplayed his part of Stan, other than that it is a comedy you just don’t want to miss. 9.5/10 Bethany Cox.

    “The Proposal” Movie Review

    “The Proposal” Plot Summary

A pushy boss forces her young assistant to marry her in order to keep her Visa status in the U.S. and avoid deportation to Canada.

    Delightful Entertainment

In New York, the Canadian Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock) is the successful self-made chief-editor of the Ruick & Hunt Publishing and loathed by her coworkers. Margaret lost her parents when she was sixteen and is tough with the employees of the office. Her executive assistant and aspirant editor Andrew Paxton (Ryan Reynolds) has been working with her for three years without any recognition. When Margaret has problems with the immigration due to an expired visa and is threatened of deportation, she blackmails Andrew to accept to marry her; in return, he would be promoted to editor and she would publish his book. Meanwhile, the skeptical clerk of the immigration department Mr. Gilbertson (Denis O’Hare) schedules an interview with Margaret and Andrew after the weekend. The couple travels to Sitka, Alaska, to celebrate the ninetieth anniversary of Andrew’s grandmother in their real estate and Margaret is welcomed by his warming family. Along the weekend, she gets closer to Andrew’s family that asks her to marry Andrew in their barn, since it is a tradition in the Paxton family. And the tension increases when Mr. Gilbertson appears out of the blue in Sitka promising to charge Andrew for fraud.’The Proposal’ is a delightful entertainment and the story is very funny. Last week, a friend of mine recommended this romantic comedy and my wife and I really enjoyed it. The shape of forty-five year-old Sandra Bullock is amazing and her difference of age with thirty-three year-old Ryan Reynolds Ryan is not visible and does not affect their chemistry; they form a romantic pair that really works. However, Betty White and Oscar Nunez steal the movie in the roles of the adorable grandma and the versatile handyman. I saw this movie on DVD and I liked much more the alternative ending in the credits. My vote is seven

    “Speed” Plot Summary

A young cop must save the passengers of a bus that has a bomb set to explode if the bus goes below 50 MPH. add synopsis

    WOW. Thats It

Speed is a terrific thriller/action film that gives new meaning to the word ’suspense’. This and the fugitive are the only true thrilling movie of the past decade. Keanu Reeves, actually not that bad, plays a cop who is going after a mad-man (Dennis Hopper who is great as the 9-fingered terrorist) who has put a bomb on a bus which will explode if the bus goes under 50 mph. This wouldn’t be much of a problem, but in LA it is as much of a problem of pising off Hopper in this movie. The most action packed, thrilling movie I’ve seen in a while, maybe equal to the terminator. Favorite Line (after Hopper’s head get’s knocked off) Reeves- ‘Yeah, but I’m taller.’ Terrific entertainment. A+

    “Demolition Man” Plot Summary

A cop is brought out of suspended animation in prison to pursue an old ultra-violent enemy who is loose in a nonviolent future society.

    good

beautiful film. As to the usual one, the usual negative comments which talk about a classical film some years 80 which everyone does not like it to the nostalgic ones are met

Sure Heros that this film had to have a judgment in this site. In fact reviewers’ good part has put a high vote to the previous episodes. Because this contrast? I know the reason. Since assumptive reviewers’ good part favorably sees the past and as the past is ‘better’ than the present they have given several credit to the preceding episodes being still the last episode more explosive and spectacular. At this point should reject also the old episodes but there are here two weights and two measure

In fact also cinema masterpieces have been criticized and denigrated. Good part some reviewers of this site belong to the very bad reviewers. Better think separately with its head. I was sure that the god fun old episode did not like it. Who has to be withdrawn is not george lucas but the last reviewer SAMPAT GO AWAY. Cary Guffey

“The Prince of Egypt” Plot Summary

An Egyptian prince learns of his identity as a Hebrew and, later his destiny to become the chosen deliverer of his people.

    This movie is so moving

I was in tears and all emotional when I watched this movie. It’s not a movie only for Christian people to watch, I think this movie’s for anyone and I definitely recommend it. I used a whole box of my Kleenex and my eyes were so red by the end of the movie I freaked out myself. Honestly, people should make more movies like this, because nowadays, it’s all movies like where you forget what the movie is really about. And then couple of months later, you don’t even remember if you watched the movie or not. I don’t think that really makes sense there. But anyway this movie is really good! I’ve got the soundtrack and it’s really really good, watch the movie !!!

    “The Lake House” Plot Summary

A lonely doctor who once occupied an unusual lakeside home begins exchanging love letters with its former resident, a frustrated architect. They must try to unravel the mystery behind their extraordinary romance before it’s too late.

    I loved it

I really did not know what to expect when I went to the movies today. Ithought the premise just did not seem believable. However, the movie was so well done that you did not care. You did not care to understand how the letters in the mailbox got to Alex or Kate. It was a great romantic movie. I am a true romantic at heart and love great romances. I wondered if this story was ever a book. I love to read and think that it would make a great read. I feel in love with the characters and their stories. I can truly say that you are sitting on the edge of your seat, anticipating that moment that they will actually meet. The scene where they danced in the yard was beautiful. The music selections were a good choice. Bring along a box of Kleenexes – you may find yourself needing it to wipe the tears away. I highly recommend the movie!

    “The Blind Side” Plot Summary

The story of Michael Oher, a homeless and traumatized boy who became an All American football player and first round NFL draft pick with the help of a caring woman and her family. add synopsis

    A Great Act of Kindness

I did not see this as a movie about white guilt, or any of the other negative stereotypical connotations one has come to expect when seeing a story like this. If anything, the film could be seen as a story of how a kind family opened their hearts, to a poor soul in need. This one act enriched the lives of them all

Sandra Bullock was at her absolute best as she lost herself in this role. Kathy Bates delivered as always she is such a pro. The actor Quinton Aaron won my heart after his first five minutes as I teared up looking at him and feeling his utter pain and despair

I’m not familiar with Tim McGraw as a singer but his performance in this film makes me feel he has a future in this profession. They all delivered and I was so moved by the over-all experience and grateful for a woman called Leigh Anne Touhy

    This movie deserved 10 stars!
