    A Pretty Good Movie….

OK Now BHC III doesn’t live up to the first 2, but in my opinion is still very underrated. It still has a lot of action in it a lot of shooting a good story and is also funny because of Murphy. The only thing I did not like about this movie was Cox, and Ashton were not in this one. They were a big part of the first two. But in conclusion this was a very good movie and I enjoyed all 3 very very much and I’m a Big Eddie Murphy fan now because of these movies. I can honestly say that I was not a fan of him at all until I saw these movies. I own all 3 of these movies, and if the 4th one does end up being made hopefully it will be like the first 3 and still be a rated R movie with a lot of action and comedy like these 3. I really really hope they don’t bring down the rating and make this a family movie or ruin this at all. AXEL RULES!!!! Thank You MR4

    “Beverly Hills Cop” Movie Review

    “Beverly Hills Cop” Plot Summary

A freewheeling Detroit cop pursuing a murder investigation finds himself dealing with the very different culture of Beverly Hills. add synopsis

    My favorite Eddie Murphy film!

Every time I see Eddie Murphy the first thing that comes to mind is ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ and how wonderful of a movie this is. This film is possibly one of the best action-comedy films out there. The action is done extremely well, the comedy is right on, the characters are likable, the acting is fantastic, and the story is great

Eddie Murphy really shines in this role as Axel Foley, a very likable Detroit Cop, and does a fantastic job of laying out the groundwork for a great franchise, as does director Martin Brest. Judge Reinhold and John Ashton play Axel’s Beverly Hills counterparts. Both pulling off fantastic performances and playing very enjoyable characters. Ronny Cox also does a fine job with his role in the film. Bronson Pinchot and Paul Reiser also deserve some notice as well, despite having very little screen time, they both make the best of it. I’d also like to point a little known actor named Damon Wayans in the film, playing an extremely small part, but nonetheless a good one (he’s the man that gives Axel the bananas).

As I mentioned before the action and the comedy are right on and the scenes flows very nicely together, you never once get bored throughout the film. If you are one of the few people on this earth that hasn’t seen ‘Beverly Hills Cop’, I strongly suggest you watch this one. It’s a fantastic film and deserves to be seen. Hope you enjoy(ed) it. Thanks for reading,-LebowskiT1000

    Excellent Sequel, That’s Very Entertaining

This is an excellent sequel that’s very entertaining. It’s loaded with great humor, lots of laughs, exciting action, and it had 3 excellent main leads but it can’t quite match the original. The 2 main villains are very menacing, even though we hardly see Jurgen Prochnow, he was still very menacing when on screen. It’s somewhat of a rehash of the 1st, but that’s okay Murphy is still funny as hell, and The finale is excellent. One of the funniest parts in the film is, Reinhold’s sudden obsession with huge guns, and it had some pretty powerful moments, especially when Capt Bogomil gets shot. The Direction is very good. Tony Scott does a very good job here, keeping the film at an exciting pace, injecting lots of great humor, good camera angles, and doing a great job overall!. There is some blood. but lots of very bloody gunshot wounds is all we get. The Acting is awesome!. Eddie Murphy is wonderful here, once again he is HILARIOUS, very likable, had great chemistry with, Ashton and Reinhold, and was lots of fun to watch!. Judge Reinhold, is also wonderful here, he is also HILARIOUS, seemed to be having a lot of fun, plus he he had a lot more to do this time around, and was very likable. John Ashton is excellent here once again, he is also quite funny at times, and very likable, and also had more to do. Jurgen Prochnow does good as one of the main villains, but didn’t really have that much screen time. Ronny Cox is fine here again, but also didn’t have that much screen time. Brigitte Nielsen is good looking, and did excellent here as one of the main villains, and man was she big!, she was also very menacing. Allen Garfield is very good here, but he was EXTREMELY unlikable,, and yelled to much and i just wanted to slap him!, he did his job well though. Dean Stockwell, has a small role here, and did fine with it

Paul Reiser is good here, once again. Gilbert R. Hill is great again as the tough inspector. Robert Ridgely is decent as the mayor. and Alice Adair is okay as Bogomil’s daughter. And look out for a cameo by a very young Chris Rock!. Overall a must see! **** out of 5

    “RoboCop” Movie Review

    “RoboCop” Plot Summary

In a dystopic & crime ridden Detroit, a terminally wounded cop returns to the force as a powerful cyborg with submerged memories haunting him.

    Great science fiction from Verhoeven

‘Robocop’ was what gave the world the robotic police officer that would rival the Terminator as the greatest cyborg film character of all time. Although, I’m not gonna take a side in that debate, but I am gonna give Robocop the recognition it deserves. He was something that was totally new at the time (1987), and since then the movie got 2 (crappy) sequels, a comic book and a mini-series

Robocop is set in the future and portrays a very dark version of Detroit, and its crime level has gone up considerably. In it, a cop named Alex Murphy gets literally blown away by a gang of nasty criminals on his first day on the job. But later a company (OCP) uses his remains to build a mechanical cop in order to cut down on the crime in order to build ‘Delta City’ to replace the corrupted dystopia that was once Detroit. Later on, Robocop makes a name for himself around the city, but unexpectedly he starts remembering what he was before his death, and through this we start to learn more about Murphy since we didn’t zilch about him before he died. And this is how he starts to regain his lost humanity. And the first rule about making a movie with a robot for a character is that you MUST make it human in some way, that’s the reason why Robocop worked so well and why ‘Terminator 2′ worked so well. Towards the ending, after he takes off his helmet for the final battle, reveals his face. And a little later, after the Old Man asks him for his name, he replies ‘Murphy’, this is one of the most heart-touching moments in science fiction which generally don’t have moments like those. The symbolism in here is perfect

Another thing that really got me were the bad guys. And the best of the gang is without a doubt, Kurtwood Smith as Clarence Boddicker. Honestly, I have never seen a guy who looks like a 50 year old pencil pusher to be so threatening. He delivers his lines with such ferocity and perfection that he becomes perhaps one of the greatest villains in the history of cinema. And his classic lines, ‘Can you fly, Bobby?’ and ‘B*****s, leave!’ will never be forgotten. Also, his crew is worth noting, Emil will be known for the gas station scene (probably the best part of the movie), Joe will be remembered for his laugh and his ‘Does it hurt? Does it hurt?’ line. And Leon will be recognized for his hilarious expression he makes when the disfigured Emil confronts him and when Robocop pulls his hair in the dance club. And lastly Clarence will be known for pretty much everything he does and says in here. And all these guys are MEAN, plain and simple. They basically kill and hurt others for their own amusement and express no pity or remorse at all. These guys are as real as movie villains could possibly get

The action is excellent, the gas station scene was bad@$$, the drug factory shootout was fantastic and the ending when Robocop takes out all the bad guys in the same place where they killed him at the steel mill is unforgettable, thanks to the Cobra Assault Cannons (forgot what they’re called), but it’s one of the sweetest weapons ever made up in a film

The one liners couldn’t have been better. ‘Dead or alive, you’re coming with me’ is a quote that should’ve been on the Top 100, but for some reason, it’s not. ‘Your move, creep’ is another worth mentioning. And the before mentioned stuff that the bad guys say are pretty cool to say in real life situations as well

Robocop is a classic in the golden age of science fiction when we didn’t have too many of that over-the-top, unoriginal crap that we’re getting now. I’m gonna cherish this movie forever, and I hope you will too.

    “Total Recall” Movie Review

    “Total Recall” Plot Summary

When a man goes for virtual vacation memories of the planet Mars, an unexpected and harrowing series of events forces him to go to the planet for real, or does he?

One of Arnie’s genuine best performances ever.

I remember when I was about 12 years old I used to watch this movie a lot and it had a strange effect on me because it is so bizarre and so violent, but I couldn’t tear my eyes away. Also, that woman with three boobs was enough for me to sit through the rest of the movie just to see again! It takes place in a dismal future where colonies have long since arisen and decayed on other planets and mutations are as rampant as corruption. Schwarzenegger plays a construction worker named Douglas Quaid who has recurring dreams about a trip to Mars and a mysterious brunette there. His hottie wife (Sharon Stone) is unimpressed by this brunette who keeps turning up in her husband’s dreams, but mostly he just can’t get over this strange need to go to Mars. I have to say, however, that based on his dream, which we see at the beginning of the movie in which he falls down a hill and breaks his face mask and then his eyes pop out of his head, doesn’t exactly seem like the kind of thing that would make me want to go to that place, but no matter. The movie really gets going as soon as Quaid goes to a company called Rekall that sells implanted memories, so basically you can travel anywhere you want to go in the world and be anyone you want. There’s no danger because you never leave the Rekall offices, but there’s always the chance of an accidental lobotomy. Almost immediately after hooking him up to their machines, he wakes up a completely different person, convinced that he is no longer a happily married construction worker but a secret agent on the run from an evil dictator of Mars named Cohaagen. At this point all hell breaks loose and the movie gets really good. It’s a little confusing, but for the thickness of the plot it’s amazing how well presented it is. Quaid is suddenly unsure who he really is, and when at one point he is receiving instructions from his other self, the self on the other side of the Rekall implantation, about how to remove a tracking device from his nose (in one of the movie’s most memorable moments), it doesn’t make things any easier for him to understand. There are tons of great characters, impressive sets, amazing special effects and brilliant performances despite the occasional cheese moment (such as that bizarre mutant at the end chanting ‘Open your miiiiiind..’ over and over). Read Volume 2 of my 50 Amazing Movie Facts on Hollywire and you’ll know what I really mean. The movie has the same brutal feeling as RoboCop, and director Paul Verhoeven has really shown that he knows how to do action sci-fi. This is definitely one of the genre’s best!

    “Deep Blue Sea” Movie Review

    “Deep Blue Sea” Plot Summary

Searching for a cure to Alzheimer’s disease a group of scientists on an isolated research facility become the bait as a trio of intelligent sharks fight back. add synopsis

    A survivalist’s dream!

A team of doctors, scientists and other professionals are sent to a remote research facility to study sharks in the hopes of finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease. But the Bio-engineered sharks soon use their newly acquired intelligence to try and outsmart their human counterparts. One by one the team, a cast that includes Michael Rapaport, LL Cool J, Samuel L Jackson, Saffron Burrows amongst others, begin to be eliminated one by one as a struggle for survival begins when the sharks sabotage the facility by causing it to deliberately flood so that they (the sharks) can escape into the open sea. I thoroughly enjoyed the suspense and thriller aspects of the film, it wasn’t too gory (compared to some other films) but the script as well as certain situations were very annoying and not to mention predictable.
