    “Dinosaur” Movie Review

    “Dinosaur” Plot Summary

An orphaned dinosaur raised by lemurs joins an arduous trek to a sancturary after a meteorite shower destroys his family home. add synopsis

    Still One of My Favorites

I was a fairly little kid when this movie came out, and it was my very favorite movie of all time; I would watch it almost every night. Nine years later, and it’s still one of my favorites. I fell in love with the animation, of course, particularly the extraordinarily detailed carnotaurs, and the characters had surprisingly well-developed personalities for a Disney kid’s movie. Aladar was perhaps the least interesting, but Bayleen, Eema and Zini were impossible not to love. Although the plot was rather thin, the underlying themes, the subplots, the animation, the characters and the way they interacted- it all made up for it. The music was spectacular

I didn’t care about the factual errors, and I still don’t think they take away from the fun of this movie. Saying that this movie was unrealistic is like saying Airplane was ridiculous. It wasn’t meant to be a documentary, and treating it like one is setting yourself up for disappointment. Yes, the dinosaurs talked, but to a little kid, that’s what brought them to life. If they hadn’t talked, the magic would be lost on those kids, and money would be lost as well

Besides, the ending is thought-provoking and hopeful; it stays with you even after the credits have begun to roll. I find myself left with a very different feeling after watching it again now than I did when I was little

Just sit back and enjoy the ride. You won’t regret it.

    “Ed Wood” Plot Summary

The mostly true story of the legendary director of awful movies and his strange group of friends and actors.

One of My Top 3 Favorite Films

What more could you want from a movie. Tim Burton is my favorite director and Johnny Depp is my favorite actor. Martin Landau is brilliant as Bela ‘Pull the String! Pull the String!’. I watch this movie over and over finding new things each time. I can’t wait till the DVD comes to America. If you like this movie I’d recommend any of Tim Burton’s other films and the Peter Bogdonavich film ‘Paper Moon’, which is also in black and white.

    “Sgt. Bilko” Movie Review

    “Sergeant Bilko” Plot Summary

This movie is a remake of the hit series which starred, Phil Silvers as Sgt. Bilko. In this movie, Bilko… add synopsis

    I enjoyed it a lot

Steve Martin is larger than life in this very funny comedy. He plays the title character who is lazy, sleazy, clever and always one step ahead of everyone else he should be ahead of. He runs the motor pool like it would be run by someone from ‘Animal House’. They spend all their time gambling and sleeping it off

A new recruit (Darryl Mitchell, from ‘Galaxy Quest’ and ‘10 Things I Hate About You) does not understand his unprofessionalism as a military man so in some ways Darryl acts as the audience. Bilko has a girlfriend who is onto him but loves him in spite of herself. He constantly leaves her at the altar (‘I’m the only woman I know whose wedding dress is showing wear’) but its a game they play more than anything. Plot takes off when Phil Hartman shows up. He’s an old adversary of Bilko and wants to even an old score. He demands that Bilko and his men shape up and even starts romancing Bilko’s girlfriend, which of course drives Bilko crazy. Glenne Headley is perfectly cast as Bilko’s girlfriend. Unfortunately Phil Hartman is miscast and does not generate the laughs you’d hope for from this comic genius. Dan Ackroyd is very good too, but of course the movie belongs to Steve Martin. He’s an acquired taste, but so what. 8/10.

    “Analyze This” Movie Review

    “Analyze This” Plot Summary

A comedy about a psychiatrist whose number one-patient is an insecure mob boss.

This is a must-see, light-hearted and ever so funny movie which will lift your spirit up

I don’t even know where to start. I don’t want to tell you much about this film because I don’t want to spoil it for you by giving you account of the funny scenes. Moreover, that would be quite impossible anyway as the film is simply funny all the way through. Sure I have my favourite scenes, one in particular, which make me laugh just thinking about them. Seriously, this is a comedy with a great story and many laughs. As a matter of fact, I really laughed all the way through, from start to finish

I want to recommend you to lighten up and simply relax when you decide to watch it. Let go of any expectations or judgements. Simply watch and let the movie entertain you. It might seem as an obvious thing to do but it is easy to slip into that judgemental and critical feeling however subtle it might be, which will spoil any movie for you not just this one

I highly recommend this movie if you want to lift you spirit up for whatever reason as this movie will do it for you. It is my favourite and I do hope that it will be your favourite too.
