liked the game, loved the movie
I went into Max Payne thinking I was in for another disappointment when it comes to video games being brought to the big screen, I was wrong. I’ve played the game and I thought it was okay. It seemed more like the Matrix games than anything original, but I digress. I was wowed by the film in the way they actually made it a story and make you actually care for the main character. That hasn’t happened for me since the first Mortal Kombat film, but then the second one sucked so bad I almost cried
The only reason I didn’t rate this higher is that the film takes at least 20 mins to really get going, but after that it sucks you right in. I loved the whole soldiers taking a liquid drug to make them feel invincible to the whoever they were at war with, which sometimes feels like that could be coming around the corner any day now. When the head bad guy starts acting like he’s some kind of god from the drugs I started thinking ‘Can’t wait till Payne kicks his Ass!’ As a story, I think it is a clever mystery story including fabled occult beliefs from the Norse mythology and when Max starts seeing them after taking the drug to get to the bad guys is pretty friggin’ sweet. I felt the film ended as good as any film noir could end after the resolution of the characters. I can’t wait to buy it on DVD and watch it again. That’s all I have for now. See ya next time.

“RocknRolla” Movie Review
“RocknRolla” Plot Summary
In London, a real-estate scam puts millions of pounds up for grabs, attracting some of the city’s scrappiest tough guys and its more established underworld types, all of whom are looking to get rich quick. While the city’s seasoned criminals vie for the cash, an unexpected player — a drugged out rock ‘n’ roller presumed to be dead but very much alive — has a multi-million dollar prize fall into his hands.
Guy Ritchie at his best
Guy Ritchie’s career has run red hot and ice cold over the yrs. Guy’s unique European gangster movies know how to have fun. Really cool violence w/ really cool lines
Guy Ritchie busted out w/ cult gangster faves Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch. Then Madonna drained his awesome storytelling w/ Swept Away. Then came weak Revolver. Madonna wrecked one of my fave directors
I put off seeing RocknRolla and I regret it. Guy Ritchie is back! Every BLEEPING thing I love about his movies came back in a wave. Unforgettable characters, bad a** story, cool lines, and plenty of action to boot. He did get help from two BLEEPING great actors. Mark Strong ‘Archy’ and Toby Kebbell ‘Johnny Quid’If you gave up on Guy Ritchie come back. RocknRolla will win you over.

“2 Fast 2 Furious” Movie Review
“The Fast and the Furious 2″ Plot Summary
Former cop, Brian O’Conner is finally arrested after letting his leader escape the law. To avoid the consequences, he must now work with an old college friend and help the police arrest a local drug exporter. add synopsis
more fast more furious
This one was way better than the first, I don’t care what all you other pladough brains say. It had better cars, women, plot, bad guys, and action. You should still watch the first one before you see this, even if it wasn’t as good, if you want to get some of the stuff they talk about in this film. As far as the plot goes, it’s a lot more interesting than a boring theft of electronic equipment. You’re much more rather to watch a movie where the good guys are up against meaner and more dangerous bad guys who really have the thrill of danger in them. Actually only Verone did a good job showing that off, but the rest didn’t do bad. Action sequences are what really smoke the original. Finally, a circuit race, and more amounts of races instead of cheesy talking for almost a whole act. I’m glad they improved on the races and action, otherwise I would have hated this movie. God Bless you, John Singleton.
