American classic in which a manipulative woman and a roguish man carry on a turbulent love affair in the American south during the Civil War and Reconstruction.
Easy To See Why This Film Is The Best
What can one say? No matter how many times you’ve seen ‘Gone With The Wind’ it simply takes your breath away! The music, the technicolor, lovely Leigh in her most brilliant performance, roguish Gable, sensitive de Havilland and all of the others make it a must! It’s so true (and sad) that Hollywood doesn’t make films like this, anymore (which, is a real shame). ‘Gone With The Wind’ is certainly ‘the’ classic of all classics and just has to be the film seen by more people than any other film in the history of motion pictures. I’m sure that no matter where you go in life, people all over the world will know of ‘Gone With The Wind’ and will always regard it fondly as the most cherished of all Hollywood masterpieces!

A suspense thriller with supernatural overtones that revolves around a man who learns something extraordinary about himself after a devastating accident.
Larger than life
Unbreakable is a film which takes you through a different path each and every time you see it. Rarely do we come across films with underlying themes that force the viewer to sit and think why he is here, whats his role in this world, why was he born, is there any meaning and purpose to his life. Unbreakable does exactly that.
The theme is simple – if there is good, there is evil….if there is strong, there is weak….if there is intelligent, there is insane….that is how the world is…that is how it WILL be..and that is exactly what we must understand as humans, and choose our path accordingly. I’ve never seen a better film with such brilliant, thought-provoking themes.
I don’t want to reveal anything else about the movie. Get the DVD, and sit down and watch the movie without any disturbance, you’ll fall in love.

Classic!
Conan the Barbarian is one of those films that just shouldn’t work on paper, but somehow ends up not only working, but becoming a classic. Everything is right here thanks to Milius unashamed bigger-than-life-direction. He takes him serious and dares to go far enough with the grandness, something few directors would dare do today for fear of being labeled pretentious
Combine this with probably the best film score EVER written, and you have movie magic. Basil Poledouris score is such a classic that every other composer has ripped it off a thousand times, and rightly so. It’s the granddaddy of Wagnerian tour-de-force scoring.
