“The Bourne Supremacy” Movie Review
“The Bourne Supremacy” Plot Summary
When Jason Bourne is framed for a botched CIA operation he is forced to take up his former life as a trained assassin to survive.
Great sequel that improves on the original
The Bourne Supremacy is a very entertaining action movie and even though it feels and looks like the original its still a great sequel. In The Bourne Identity, sleeper agent/assassin Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) went on the run from his own agency, the CIA, when they tried to take him out of commission. Although he thought his troubles were over, he is forced back into the life when he is framed for a botched CIA operation, so he takes the fight back to them while trying to find out more about his past and the memories that haunt him. The plot is very good and it is carried out well by a talented cast. The film keeps you on the edge of your seat and you most likely won’t be bored. The best new addition to the cast is Joan Allen and she gives a really good performance. Matt Damon is once again Jason Bourne and he gives a great performance. Brian Cox is also back and I like him this time around because he dies and you don’t have to deal with him anymore. The last main part of the cast is Julia Stiles and she may actually have a future ahead of her in Hollywood. Paul Greengrass directs and he does a good job of replacing Doug Liman. The direction is really good and it keeps its audience interested and it keeps you guessing right until the end. Some people will complain that there’s nothing new and its not worth the time to watch but its a lot more exciting then the original. Rating 8/10 a nearly flawless action movie that improves over the original. I recommend you see this movie it won’t disappoint you.

“The Bourne Identity” Movie Review
“The Bourne Identity” Plot Summary
A man is picked up by a fishing boat, bullet-riddled and without memory, then races to elude assassins and recover from amnesia.
Excellent
I was pleasantly surprised with the Bourne Identity
Very rarely do I get to watch a movie that surpasses my expectations
First of all can I say that there are so many films out there that have the same regurgitated ideas and plot lines
Not many of which have any originality
This however is one of the exceptions thankfully and pleasantly
Centred around a man who gets washed ashore and with no memory.( OK so this has been done before !!) but this movie was original
A selection box of mystery, action and great acting by all concerned
Haven’t seen much of Mr Damion I have to admit but he was impressive
The photography ( can I use that term without sounding like a theatre studies student ?) was very good
In fact watching this movie was like watching one of those middle of the night foreign movies in a funny sort of way
However this was much more
In a word this film was ORIGINAL.Well directed and well acted. Good to see a film that doesn’t have to rely on spectacular special effects and painted backdrops
This film worked because it worked without any of that.( Now I am waffling)

“The Bourne Ultimatum” Movie Review
“The Bourne Ultimatum” Plot Summary
Jason Bourne dodges a ruthless CIA official and his agents from a new assassination program while searching for the origins of his life as a trained killer.
Fantastic Conclusion
The final installment in the action thriller franchise is just that probably the hardest hitting of the three films. It goes further to play the anti-Bond theme. Bourne doesn’t like what he is doing and wants to know about his blurry past. Everything about this film hits it on the nail from the cinematography to choreography/stunt work to the script to acting
The film starts out in a flurry as Bourne is running from the Moscow police. The story seems to pick up right where the first film left off. Or does it? The time is a little muddled here, but we get the fact that Bourne is remembering things. A sudden flashback while trying to clean himself up nearly gets him caught, but he makes it and doesn’t kill anyone. They aren’t his target. From there we get more of the intrigue of his past with a new player, Noah Vosen, who seems to know everything about Bourne and will protect it at all costs. Pamela Landy is back as well as Nicky Parsons who seems to have a past with Bourne as well
The cinematography is in your face following tight on practically everything. The car chase is even more intense if that seems possible than the ones from the first two. And the veteran cast chasing Bourne is superb with a nice part by Albert Finney. It also has slight political overtones in relationship to rendition and other government policies, but that is minor and integrated very well within the plot. All in all this is the best of the trilogy conclusions this year, if not the best action trilogy ever.
