    “Donnie Darko” Movie Review

    “Donnie Darko” Plot Summary

A troubled teenager is plagued by visions of a large bunny rabbit that manipulates him to commit a series of crimes, after narrowly escaping a bizarre accident.

One of the greatest cinematic achievements

Donnie Darko tells the story of a delusional teenager who begins to see visions of a a man in a blue bunny suit, who orders him to do certain tasks through suggestive clues and voices, to which he insists he MUST do, or the world will end

Now, really, this is a movie you must see to get the plot, if I were to give the full, detailed, complex plot it would take far too long (And will probably you leave you more stumped) to which reveals the majestic brilliance of Donnie Darko; which is that their are endless amounts of theories and interpretations, making it one of the most thought-provoking fantasy of recent years

The acting is superb (Maggie Ghyllenhal, Jake Ghyllenhal and Drew Barrymore to name a few), the music is perfect, subtle and atmospheric and the fantastic direction, coupled with a roller-coaster ride of a storyline will leave you of utmost interest and intrigue like no other movie. Not only that, but you will find yourself watching it more than a few times, as it will stick in your mind until you reveal your own personal interpretation (To which you may experience a Donnie Darko ‘phase’ which I did, warning: It WILL take up a sizable chunk of your life).

But adding to the already deep and complex storyline, there are also a vast amount of underlying themes, most noticeable the character Patrick Swayze plays, in which it represents a false ’superior’, referring clearly to religion

Donnie Darko is truly a classic, one of my favorite films and I recommend it to anyone. Incredible.

    “Judge Dredd” Plot Summary

In a dystopian future, Dredd, the most famous judge (a cop with instant field judiciary powers) is convicted for a crime he did not commit while his murderous counterpart escapes. add synopsis

    I LOVED IT!

I’ll be honest, when I first heard of this movie I had never even heard of Judge Dredd, so I hadn’t the foggiest idea what to expect. I thought it was a fantastic film, with a really cool story, great action, cool actors, decent acting and some great bits of comedy.

Sylvester Stallone was the PERFECT choice for the role of Judge Dredd! He completely fits the mold and does an outstanding job portraying Judge Dredd. Rob Schnieder was an excellent choice for the part of Herman Ferguson as well. Rob added a great deal of comedy to the film and it was all good comedy, nothing terribly cheesy or annoying, just perfect. Diane Lane looks nothing short of fabulous throughout the film, and pulls off a fine performance as well. Max von Sydow is not someone I would expect to be in a film like this, but nonetheless, I’m glad he did, because he did a fantastic job. Armand Assante was excellent in the antagonist position. He makes and excellent ‘bad guy’, I’d love to see him in more films. The rest of the cast was good as well.

The special effects in the film are very good for the most part, there’s nothing much to complain about. The thing that completely made this film for me is the ABC Warbot. What a beautiful design! Truly fantastic!!! The only thing I would have liked to see is a long shot of the Warbot walking, but I’m sure with the budget of the film that was virtually impossible, so I’ll deal with it. But all the scenes with the Warbot are just fantastic!

I don’t really see why people tend to dislike this film. I thought it was an all around fun movie with plenty of good things going for it. I would definitely recommend this film to anyone that like super-hero movies, or just futuristic action films. I hope that you like this film as much as I do. Thanks for reading.

    “Fatal Attraction” Plot Summary

A married man’s one night stand comes back to haunt him when that lover begins to stalk him and his family. add synopsis

The Best Movie I Have Ever Seen.

I saw Fatal Attraction at the movie theater when I was only 8 years old. That was in 1988. I saw it I know three times. To this day it is the best movie I have ever seen. The little girl Ellen was so cute and articulate. Michael Douglas gave his finest performance to date. Plus, I did just love Glenn Close’s hair. This is just absolutely a terrific movie to see with your spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend. Anyone that has not seen this wonderful drama should see it. I have the videotape. It is a keeper. You will wonder why Anne Arhcer’s character stayed with her husband in the end. The bathtub scene will keep you on the edge of your seat. It is thrilling to say the least. I am 24 years old now; and it is unequivocally the best movie my eyes has ever witnessed.

    “Death Race” Plot Summary

Ex-con Jensen Ames is forced by the warden of a notorious prison to compete in our post-industrial world’s most popular sport: a car race in which inmates must brutalize and kill one another on the road to victory.

    An amazing movie

Before watching this movie, I’ve never heard of it. I watched this title because it was a spur of the moment kind of thing. I had no idea what this movie was going to be about, and no idea what genre it is. This movie was action packed, thrilling, amazing in every shot. Every scene and every shot is purposeful and totally meant to be there. The cinematography is flawless. The only flaw is that it was too good. It seems like a movie that seems worth watching again, but when you do watch it again, it seems kind of repetitive, kind of like transformers. It seems like it would be a good movie to watch if you’re going to reminisce.

    “Sabrina” Movie Review

    “Sabrina” Plot Summary

An ugly duckling having undergone a remarkable change, still harbors feelings for her crush: a carefree playboy, but not before his business-focused brother has something to say about it. add synopsis

    Romantic, entertaining, and magical

I was a bit surprised looking at Sabrina’s user ratings. I thought it would be around 7, but it wasn’t. My vote for this movie was a perfect 10, simply because I can’t find any flaws from this movie. Sabrina is definitely my all-time favorite!Well, I know this genre is not for everybody’s taste, but this movie is very easy on the eyes, very light, entertaining, funny and most of all: magical. Here’s what I love about the movie: 1. The story itself the usual ‘ugly duckling’ story and it’s also a remake, but in this movie they turned that average story into a very lovely one. 2. The casting of everybody in this movie: Harrison Ford, Julia Ormond, Greg Kinnear, Nancy Marchand, John Wood, and other actors are done very well. The chemistry between Harrison Ford and Julia Ormond is just wonderful.3. Their acting is also very good, especially Dana Ivey as Mack, Linus’ secretary. Her laugh was a hilarious one :) 4. The music? It compliments the movie. The movie would not be as magical if it wasn’t for John Williams’ score. His scores are just superb. I can’t praise enough about it. If you don’t believe me, just hear the soundtrack.5. And last but not least, I just love how Sydney Pollack create those extremely beautiful shots. My favorites are the Paris and Nantucket scenes. They’re very very very lovely

Overall, this is a movie that can put you in a very good mood..
