“The Jungle Book” Movie Review

“The Jungle Book” Plot Summary

Bagheera the Panther and Baloo the Bear have a difficult time trying to convince a boy to leave the jungle for human civilization.

One of Disney’s Best

‘The Jungle Book’ is definitely a classic. This was the last one to be produced under Walt Disney himself, and it kept the animation department alive after him. If you have noticed a certain ‘formula’ to modern Disney animated features, you’ll see that ‘The Jungle Book’ does not quite fit that formula. It’s something I appreciate about old Disney pictures, especially this one.

    “Lilo & Stitch” Plot Summary

A Hawaiian girl adopts an unusual pet who is actually an notorious extra-terrestrial fugitive from the law. add synopsis

    the best disney movie yet!

Thank god that there is actuall someone down at disney who had the common sense to allow a new style of animated cartoon. Lilo and stitch is touching and beautifully created, and the water colour backdrops make it easy on the eye. It tells the story of Lilo and her older sister who adopt a small alien dog from the local kennels. Chris Sanders has made this film into a sentimental tale dealing with modern issues as well as creating comedy and a film great for kids and adults. It is so refreshing to see traditional surreal disney tales like beauty and the beast and the little mermaid, which are full of all singing all dancing hogwash, replaced by a beautiful piece od movie magic. Lilo and stitch is a charming and touching tale with perfectly casted voices and an ideal setting BRILLIANT!!!!! 10/10

    “Black Hawk Down” Movie Review

    “Black Hawk Down” Plot Summary

123 elite U.S. soldiers drop into Somalia to capture two top lieutenants of a renegade warlord and find themselves in a desperate battle with a large force of heavily-armed Somalis. |

The best and most realistic war movie ever made.

As you may know already, this movie is based on facts. A faction of Somali militia that was hostile to foreign presence in Mogadishu murdered 24 UN peace-keepers. The starvation would kill 200,000 people.

The UN could only call for help to the USA, and at that time, Bill Clinton sent US Special Forces like Rangers, Delta Force and Navy SEALs to capture the leaders of the hostile militia.

When the US General Garrison had reliable information about Mohamed Farrah Aidid local allies’ location, American soldiers went for them.

In the most brilliant direction work, Ridley Scott portrays a band of brothers overwhelmingly outnumbered, who end up fighting for life in the worst moments of the raid.

When you watch this movie, you cannot avoid feeling a deep connection to those young men, who keep heading forward to complete the job. Every detail in this movie is awesome. There’s a time when you realize what heroism means- I’m talking about Randy Shughart and Gary Gordon. These two brave men payed the ultimate sacrifice just trying to rescue a pilot who’s chopper crashed in a hostile area. They made it- Mike Durant, the pilot, is alive today. This is what I call American heroism.

After watching this movie I was speechless, stunned. Now, I respect more than ever American servicemen. Thankyou for all the good causes you have been fighting everywhere.

“Enemy of the State” Movie Review

“Enemy of the State” Plot Summary

A lawyer becomes a target by a corrupt politician and his NSA goons when he accidentally receives key evidence to a serious politically motivated crime. add synopsis

    The smartest thriller ever made

In 1998, I was only about seven years old and therefore I couldn’t see it in the theaters because of the rating, but my guess is, the entire world got a wake-up call to the horrifying truth about their government. And the thing is, everything that happened in ‘Enemy of the State’ is very, very possible of happening. But that’s just me thinking, ’cause it was over 11 years ago and and I couldn’t remember if I tried. Did this movie do the same thing to the government as ‘Jaws’ did to the beaches? Perhaps

The movie is about a highly accomplished lawyer named Robert Clayton Dean played by Will Smith in the performance of his career and makes an extremely believable character and expresses his emotions of anger and paranoia just perfectly. Dean accidentally gets a videotape of a covered-up political murder and in most of the movie, he doesn’t realize it. But he’s aware that the people (NSA agents) chasing him are watching him for sinister purposes. Robert Dean is also one of the smartest characters in the history of films, as he is able to outsmart a corrupt agency who have practically everything on him, such as satellites, tracers and cameras

Gene Hackman also stands out as the gruff, foul-mouthed former conspirer and government agent named Brill, who has had experience in surveillance technology and assists Dean in getting away from these dirty agents. However, Hackman doesn’t show up until after the first hour, but that demonstrates his character who has spent most of his life hiding and it shows the secretiveness of Brill. Although the role is somewhat smaller, Hackman makes the best of it

And as for the NSA agents played by Jon Voight, Barry Pepper, Seth Green and Jack Black…..all of these guys are DIRTY, and I mean that in the truest meaning possible. These guys are ruining an innocent man’s life, screwing up his credit cards, and even wrecking his marriage just so they can get away with what they did. Believe me, you are gonna find yourself HATING these guys, and I mean it. And as movie villains go….you’re supposed to hate them, sometimes in other movies, you might be amused or not feel anything at all, but ‘Enemy of the State’ does what it’s supposed to do. Also, they’re very realistic ’cause they aren’t stupid and they know what they’re doing with all the technology they have

Most of the film’s thrills comes from the suspense rather than the action, as much of Tony Scott’s films are like. The chase scenes such as the beginning when the NSA guys are going after Zavitz and when they’re chasing Dean in the hotel and on the streets are terrificly shot and edited. Also, later on the action comes in after Dean and Brill run from the agents is also a highlight, and it’s pretty hilarious after Dean asks Brill why he blew up the building and he reacts by saying ‘Because you made a phone call!’ which demonstrates how careful he is. And of course the ending stand-ff between the agents and the Italian mob is absolutely bad@$$ in the true sense of the word

I absolutely love ‘Enemy of the State’ and support its position as one of the best thrillers of all time, because its very smart and doesn’t treat the audience like they’re a bunch of idiots. Buy it, rent it or borrow it from a friend, and watch the movie that happens to be the smartest thriller ever made….

    “cLeRKs” Plot Summary

A calamity at Dante and Randall’s shops sends them looking for new horizons – but they ultimately settle at Mooby’s, a fictional Disney-McDonald’s-style fast-food empire.

    Romantic Love

In New Jersey, when Dante (Brian O’Halloran) arrives to open the convenience store ‘Quick Stop Groceries’ for another labor day, he finds the place on fire. The losers Dante and his friend Randal (Jeff Anderson) find another job position in the fast food restaurant Mooby’s, managed by Becky (Rosario Dawson), and working with the Christian employee Elias (Trevor Fehrman). The new and improved potheads and drug dealers Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Kevin Smith) also move their traffic spot to the new location. Dante is planning a new life in Florida getting married with his fiancee Emma (Jennifer Schwalbach) while his friend Becky is a woman that does not believe in romantic love. On the eve of Dante’s departure to Florida, Randal decides to promote a farewell and bachelor party to his best friend, and he invites Kelly and the Sexy Stud (Zak Knutson) from Tijuana to heat the celebration. However, things go wrong and Dante rethinks his future.’Clerks II’ is a hilarious sequel of the cult ‘Clerks’ that was the debut of Kevin Smith. The story follows the usual politically incorrect style of this director, with racist and sexist jokes blended with drugs, gross situations and a romance. However, what else can a viewer expect from a Kevin Smith’s movie? Rosario Dawson is extremely charming in the role of Becky, and the witty lines with double sense meanings are very funny. The conventional conclusion fits well to the story. My vote is seven

    Better than expected…

I was surprised by this movie. Going in, I was sure this would be a movie designed solely to push the issues of women’s rights and equality of the sexes. Instead, the movie squarely, but fairly, demonstrated the undeniable differences between men and women. Demi Moore was outstanding in this film – in my opinion it was her best role yet. The movie was provocative and exciting. Definitely not a disappointment at all, but a movie the squeamish may want to avoid. There are some mildly graphic scenes. There are also some unforgettable lines!

    “Deep Impact” Plot Summary

Unless a comet can be destroyed before colliding with Earth, only those allowed into shelters will survive. Which people will survive?

    Much more better than Armageddon

I really loved this movie, I have seen it over ten times, since the first time I saw it on the cinemas, to each time I see it on television I must admit I’m really crazy about this film, Well if you want my comparison between this two films, the only point in which I find Armageddon better than this one is in the action scenes, but i find better Deep Impact in casting, writing, drama, character development, locations, story, drama, destruction scene (isn’t the scene of the giant wave going over New York City really memorable and a great movie moment?). I will tell you my favourite scenes and character, which must be the president, he really makes you believe that if the world was about to come to an end the president would be exactly like that. Instead of the Armageddon’s ’so the world is about to end, who cares?’ attitude of the people. Well call this commentary just another ‘Armageddon vs. Deep Impact’ comparison, but I really wanted to share this thoughts with all of you

    “The Bourne Ultimatum” Movie Review

    “The Bourne Ultimatum” Plot Summary

Jason Bourne dodges a ruthless CIA official and his agents from a new assassination program while searching for the origins of his life as a trained killer.

    Fantastic Conclusion

The final installment in the action thriller franchise is just that probably the hardest hitting of the three films. It goes further to play the anti-Bond theme. Bourne doesn’t like what he is doing and wants to know about his blurry past. Everything about this film hits it on the nail from the cinematography to choreography/stunt work to the script to acting

The film starts out in a flurry as Bourne is running from the Moscow police. The story seems to pick up right where the first film left off. Or does it? The time is a little muddled here, but we get the fact that Bourne is remembering things. A sudden flashback while trying to clean himself up nearly gets him caught, but he makes it and doesn’t kill anyone. They aren’t his target. From there we get more of the intrigue of his past with a new player, Noah Vosen, who seems to know everything about Bourne and will protect it at all costs. Pamela Landy is back as well as Nicky Parsons who seems to have a past with Bourne as well

The cinematography is in your face following tight on practically everything. The car chase is even more intense if that seems possible than the ones from the first two. And the veteran cast chasing Bourne is superb with a nice part by Albert Finney. It also has slight political overtones in relationship to rendition and other government policies, but that is minor and integrated very well within the plot. All in all this is the best of the trilogy conclusions this year, if not the best action trilogy ever.
