“Bridget Jones’s Diary” Movie Review
“Bridget Jones” Plot Summary
A British woman is determined to improve herself while she looks for love in a year in which she keeps a personal diary.
My favorite movie
SPOILERS! Every time I watch this movie I feel like I’m falling in love all over again. Bridget is soooo lovable. It’s a fact! Why else would two dishy men like Daniel and Mark be all over her. Let’s face it — Daniel is a dog. But Mark is a very well educated, accomplished man. I’m so glad that Bridget ends up with someone so worthy of her and her sweetness and good heart
Mark is very cautious because he has been hurt before. Therefore, his willingness to proclaim his feelings for Bridget and commit to her must be very difficult for him but he does because he wants Bridget in his life. Since he is an attorney, I would also assume he is very analytical and has looked at his relationship with Bridget from every angle imaginable
I also think that Bridget might remind him a little of his mother. Remember, folks, his mother is the one who picked out his Christmas ties and wanted to fix up Bridget and Mark in the first place. Also, Mark has seen how happy his parents have been for 40 years, so his mother’s playfulness and humor probably contributed a lot to that fact. Besides, Mark has worked hard to become a very accomplished and well-thought of attorney, and he needs to balance it with the love, affection, sweetness, silliness, tenderness, and humor that Bridget can offer. I just love this movie.

Better than Most
I recommend this movie
The movie has a well thought out plot. It moves at a good pace that leaves you interested with the actual events in the film
The acting was well done. Jason Statham continues to be one of todays most under-appreciated and underrated actors. Yes, he does do some questionable action movies, but when you put him in a role where one actually needs to ‘act’, he never disappoints
The dialog was ‘catchy’ but still believable. The characters in this movie are believable in their ’sinister’ ways or their ‘everyday joe’ kind of ways. You really do end up hating certain individuals and loving others. There are so many interesting characters that have an interest in the bank heist that you really do want to know how it all ends
There was no unnecessary violence just for the sake of violence and yet at points, it felt like an action thriller
In the end, this is a movie with a great plot, great characters, good dialog and an ending with no holes. AND this movie is missing the Hollywood ‘over the top’ quality that has a tendency to ruin most movies
Definitely worth seeing.

“Hitman” Movie Review
“Hitman” Plot Summary
A gun-for-hire known only as Agent 47 hired by a group known only as ‘The Organization’ is ensnared in a political conspiracy, which finds him pursued by both Interpol and the Russian military as he treks across Russia and Eastern Europe.
A kick-ass movie from the video game
I’m somewhere in between a lot of the viewers I think. I’ve played Hit-man, but I never got too involved with the games, so I’m not a fanatic. I thought the movie was great though. Plenty of good action sequences and fights, guns or not, hot girls, and an interesting story. Timothy Olyphant played Agent 47 well, although I would have originally thought someone with a more European look and slimmer, more defined face would have been chosen. He still played the character great though. I liked how Nika and 47 interacted with each other, and the relationship was good, great chemistry. She gave a more human edge to 47 without making him become a wimp. There was Just enough humor and sensitivity, but not too much. He was still a cold-blooded killer that would split your head open without having to think much about it. He’s not exactly the conflicted villain turned hero that I thought he would be
With that being said, I think you could make great sequel to this. I thought the movie was going to be more heavily based on the first video game that I played, but they could make that Hit-man 2. You hit-man gamers know what I’m talking about. In the video game he retires from being a professional hit-man and gives up that lifestyle to move to a remote village and church in Sicily. He lives this peaceful life and doesn’t want to go back to killing, but those mobsters or whoever end up coming to find him and kill the priest. Then 47 picks the guns back up and goes out for revenge
I think that would make a SICK sequel, if there’s a demand for it. I don’t know how much money Hit-man made, so I don’t know, but they definitely should make that for Hit-man 2 anyway. Just ice the Nika character and say she was killed. It had something to do with one of his missions, and that (among other reasons) is why he goes off the radar and quits being a hit-man. Go from there
I would recommend the movie to anyone who enjoys action and ‘guy’ movies, without a doubt.
