Good Movie
I really liked this movie. I have a thing for late 80’s action flicks like Beverly Hills Cop or 48 hrs. I thought this was pretty good movie. One of the members on here said Belushi’s character was the worst part of the movie. I thought Belushi was pretty good and comedic. I love the dialogue in the movie between Danko and Ridzik at the coffee shop. Overall I would definitely recommend this movie. I also find the content to be appealing. Russian Mob and drug smuggling. I also thought the bad guy Viktor was a really cool part played by Ed O’Ross who also plays Dutch Schultz right hand man in Hoodlum which is not nearly as good as Red Heat.

After Terminator 1 this is Arnold Schwarzeneggers best movie. I can’t understand, why this is so underrated. I love the self-ironic in this film. This movie shows that Arnie is much more intelligent and humorous than a lot of people thought before. I gave it a rate of 9.

I’ve probably seen this film more times than I’ve had hot dinners, and it just gets better every time. Some of the scenes are so classic, that they come up in drunken conversations very regularly. The greatest tragedy is the death of Belushi. He was truly brilliant !

Strange but humorous tale of a florist clerk (Rick Moranis) who comes across a rare plant which demands human blood. As it grows it wants more and more, and Moranis eventually kills an annoying – but funny – dentist (Steve Martin) to feed to the plant. Disgusting, dark, odd, strange, and delightfully perverted remake of the 1970s Jack Nicholson film. Highlight: Steve Martin’s ‘Dentist!’ song. 4.5/5 stars -John Ulmer
