“Transformers” 2007 by Michael Bay – Movie Review

If you think that good battle-robots Autobots and bad battle-robots Decepticons have landed on our dearest planet Earth in 2007 – you’re strongly mistaken. Because they came to our world in the times of the notorious Moscow Olympiad-80, when suddenly bubble-gum and coca-cola appeared in Moscow for the first time. Although the robots landed not in Moscow but in Japan. That is where these amusing robots-transformers were invented. They were the models of different automobiles which then could be transformed into battle robots.

Autobots

Autobots

The American toy company Hasbro got interested in these toys and bought the rights to produce them in the US. Interested in the American toy company Hasbro, and then bought the rights to their production in the States. Due to the fact that they approach marketing in the USA with all the possible seriousness. That’s why these nameless by the time auto-robots received their personal names. Which is more, they received a whole history explaining which planet they came form and what they do here. Well, and thirdly, the whole comics industry started hard work on creating the epci story of the planet Cybertrone on which the good robots Autobots under the leadership of brave General Optimus Prime (originally it was Prime Time but later reduced to simply Prime) are fighting against the bad robots Decepticons headed by an treacherous Megatron.

Thus, everyone was happy: Hasbro sold megatons of transformers, the Marvel company produced mountains of comics, and Sunbow Production crafted animated cartoons about the adventures of elusive Autobots behind the Decepticons’ enemy line. In the end Sunbow even produced full-length animated film “Transformers” in which Autobots and Decepticons arrive on Earth and start all kinds of battles, while a guy named Spike is helping our folks Autobots. But the movie was a failure. Why? Either due to the fact that there were too many robots and too few people, or due to the fact that the kids already got fed up with transformers – it is hard to say. After that the Transformers have almost disappeared – people lost interested in them. The new type of heroes has settled in the kids’ hearts – Spiderman, Pokemons and the like, resulting in the transformers being forgotten in the far corners of dusty garages. Nobody was interested in the fate of the planet Cybertron anymore.

However, in the mid-nineties Hasbro managed to revive the interest in the transformers. They invented a new concept: robots can now be transformed into animals. After that when the creators imagination started to blossom with new models, the kids’ interest woke up again, resulting in creating fan-communities which could fiercely argue upon which transformer is more cool – a hamster/crocodile or eagle/ram type.

“Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen ” 2009 by Michael Bay – Movie Review

Michael Bay has created a miracle and made the second part of the movie not worse (and nobody is able to do it better) than the first.

Megan Fox Looking Hot

Megan Fox Looking Hot

To cut the long story short, let me tell you what is waiting for the audience of “Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen”: Megan Fox in sexy ultra-short shorts, robot-bikes (not as steep as in the “Terminator 4: Salvation“, but still cool), a funny robot turns into a toy RC jeep, Megan Fox in sexy leather pants, the nano-robot composed of small metal balls, a giant robot composed of 5 or 7 machines, Megan Fox in sexy white pants, large one-eyed jaguar robot, a huge robot with the giant steel balls, an awesome sexy blonde robot in panties and a metal tail at the level of the coccyx, and much much more.

Okay, in short, that’s almost all the plot of the second Transformers movie.

‘Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen” (2009) Plot Overview

While the good robots, who has signed in to protect the Earth from evil robots, are finding their way through the bureaucracy of the Ministry of Defense, and the bad robots are regrouping gloomily somewhere near Saturn, the grown-up hero of the first “Transformers” (LaBeouf) argues with clearly too cool for him car mechanic girl (Fox) about who is the first to say “I love you”, and explains why he is not taking the animate “Chevrolet” to the college with him. Higher education, however, is limited to falling into bed with a pornographic student and the demolition of the library – the trumpet calls, the giant robot says: “Sam, we need you”.

All these assessments are wrong you understand the level of bad opinion of this site. Only films for intellectuals can be saved. This film was produced with many dollars and the optimal use of special effects make the place as among the best science fiction film Americans. Finitela of using double standards when judged as a movie, try to be objective because they give 3.8 a film of its kind and reward a crap how terrible sin city with 8.2 is really a ‘offense. A genetic anomaly allows a young man to teleport himself anywhere. He discovers this gift has existed for centuries and finds himself in a war that has been raging for thousands of years between “Jumpers” and those who have sworn to kill them.

Insanely idiotic and vapid

I ended up watching this movie by chance and considering how hard I can resist to walk out a theatre to give the film a chance, I inflicted myself some serious pressure not to walk away

I honestly can’t think of anything redeeming. The storyline is so bland I can only picture a bunch of 14yo Beavis and Butthead teenagers writing this on a clownpointed Saturday detention assignment. The characters are weak and predictable. The so called ‘great’ life David has is boring beyond words and looks like a mere cliche of a pure teenage fantasy. The way the story goes turns him into a little unappealing selfish spoiled boring knucklehead. Oh lord, prevent me from cringing. CRINGE CRINGE CRINGE! Jamie Bell is an awful actor and so irritating, Samuel L. Jackson is out of place, Rachel Bilson tries her best but what’s all the fuss about these people? I’d damn myself for eternity for taking part even in a minor role of this movie. The end is just even worse, fizzling out into the outer space of vergognaland

Save your money, that’s the best advice I can give.

“Extract” Plot Summary

Joel, the owner of an Extract plant, tries to contend with myriad personal and professional problems, such as his potentially unfaithful wife and employees who want to take advantage of him.

One of the best comedies in a long time

I just got back from seeing this movie, and all I can say is two thumbs up. I left fully satisfied, money well spent on the price of a movie ticket. Lately the last few movies I saw were a bore including ‘The Goods’ staring Jeremy Piven. It seems now and days the directors are exaggerating comedic scenes to make people laugh if they can even accomplish that. They’ll repeat the same scenes over again because they have no other material to go off of. With Mike Judge’s new movie he does the complete opposite. He takes everyday scenarios of what most normal people go through and puts it in his movies. The viewers can relate to these and that’s what makes it hilarious. I can’t remember the last time I cried so hard from laughing. The actors picked for this movie did an outstanding job in their roles and came through to the end. Ben Affleck was the most surprising. Very pleased with his role, never thought of him as being a comedic actor but by far he did the best job. I definitely recommend this movie to any one in for a good laugh.

    “Spiderman 2″ Plot Summary

Peter Parker is beset with troubles in his failing personal life as he battles a brilliant scientist named Doctor Otto Octavius, who becomes Doctor Octopus (aka Doc Ock), after an accident causes him to bond psychically with mechanical tentacles that do his bidding. add synopsis

    Better than the first!

I for one was not totally blown away by the first Spider-Man film. Yes, it is a good comic to film, but somehow I just didn’t get caught up in all the hoopla. That was changed with Spider-Man 2. This film took the successful elements from the first (character and acting) and pushed it up another notch

We were given again only 1 new villain, this saved much needed time to flesh out Peter Parker/Spider-Man as well as further the other story lines going on with those surrounding Peter. The struggle that Peter goes through; should he or shouldn’t he sacrifice his life for others, is handled beautifully here. You feel that struggle. He may be a ’superhero’, but he is still just a kid trying to sort out his life. A life that seems to sucker punch him every single day. I thought this was the most logical step to take the franchise after the introduction in the first. The special effects this time were much improved over the first. Many times I was taken out of the moment in the first film because the effects looked to much like effects and were not natural. That is still a problem from time to time here again, but by in large a much better outing

Story, performances, effects, all were improved in the 2nd installment, something we just don’t see happen a lot. One of the best comic to film productions ever in my opinion.

    “Spider-Man 3″ Movie Review

    “Spider-Man 3″ Plot Summary

A strange black entity from another world bonds with Peter Parker and causes inner turmoil as he contends with new villains, temptations, and revenge.

    Better Then I Ever Imagined

Sam Raimi once again directs this visual, emotional, and stunning sequel

This movie picks up pretty much where Spider-man 2 had left off from. The first 20 minutes of the movie really rush through everyones story including Sandman and the arrival of Venom. Spider-man is now a huge star in New York in this movie, loved by everyone, while Mary Jane in the beginning is loving her career as an actress on stage. Harry Osborn is an angry and bitter human being driven to kill Peter Parker because he now knows that he is Spider-man and in his eyes, the man who killed his father

As the story goes on we learn that the sandman is really a man named Flint Marko (Thomas Haden Church) who is a man who just broke out of jail, he is also a man who is trying to heal his sick daughter. Venom is a man named Eddie Brock, who is trying to steal the job that Peter currently has and hates Peter. Harry early on in the movie loses his some of his memory in a fight against Peter

While the movie does rush through these stories in the beginning, it does it smoothly and makes each scene look its best. The Sandman was done so beautifully in this movie and the emotion of the character really doesn’t make him feel like a villain. Venom however, is complete evil and that really is the main focus of the movie for the most part. When the black suit takes over Peter, it is actually pretty funny because we see Peter acting cool and bad, pointing at all the girls that pass and Maguire plays it so well, dancing in the streets, those scenes are just so golden

Topher Grace really proved he could play this character, there were some doubts because he is not a muscular guy like the character in the comics was but he does it wonderfully, the comedy he’s given is weak but that really doesn’t matter. The Venom character when it takes over Brock is not really what the comics has, its really more like the cartoon from the 1990’s but it works really well and fits the tone of the film. Sandman just looks plain awesome in this picture, they really made him look like what he did in the comics, with a few updates

The comedy in this film is just plain great, characters like Jameson will have you in tears because you will be laughing so hard. Jameson’s first scene is absolutely wonderful

The action is great, and the thing about the action in this movie is that it is not overdone, this movie does not have too many action scenes, they really do focus on the story more then the action, which was really great

There is also a lot of drama, this is one of few movies, mainly comic book movies, that almost brought me to tears because the acting is so good, if someone doesn’t get an Oscar, i’ll be angry, lol. The story actually brings the truth on how Ben Parker dies, which was so well done. Mary Jane and Peter Parker’s relationship goes through so many turns (and a very unexpected moment happens in a jazz club were M.J. works when Peter is fighting guards in the club). The story with Harry and Peter, The Sandman’s story, Aunt May also has some emotional moments in this. It is all so wonderfully acted that you will feel like crying

Overall, a 10 out of 10, i loved this film, and i wouldn’t mind seeing this several more times in theaters.

    “Juno” Plot Summary

Faced with an unplanned pregnancy, an offbeat young woman makes an unusual decision regarding her unborn child.

A Great Beginning to the Rest of Your Life

Juno ID# 1677I saw this movie at a special screening at UCLA, just as a last resort for something to do on a free Thursday night. I’m so glad I went, because it was amazing! I had no idea what the movie was about; I only knew Michael Cera (Superbad, Arrested Development) was in it, which was enough incentive for me to go. I walked out literally skipping alongside my best friend, both humming to the tune of the great original songs from the movie. The theme of love existing in so many forms where you least expect to find it just lifted me right out of my doldrums, and made me look at life again from a different perspective. There’s just too much to love about life, so many places you’ll find it, and the only way to do it is just to live. Juno shows you reality, but it highlights the tiny details about love and life that you might start missing or forgetting about

Excuse me for sounding so corny, but that’s exactly what this movie did for me. To put it easily, it’s a ‘feel-good’ movie that leaves you FEELing GOOD. If you’re down or just in the mood to be lifted up even higher, I recommend this movie for you

Enjoy it :) and remember, love is always worth it.

    “Jennifer’s Body” Movie Review

    “Jennifer’s Body” Plot Summary

A newly possessed cheerleader turns into a killer who specializes in offing her male classmates. Can her best friend put an end to the horror?

Nice l guess. lf you like that kinda stuff

You wouldn’t think that a 15 year old would be reviewing a movie which is ‘Rated R for sexuality, bloody violence, language and brief drug use.’ (wait l didn’t see no drugs) but you gadda love piratebay

So anyways l saw this movie today and kinda liked it actually. l mean Horror is not exactly my genre of movies but l couldn’t not see a movie with Megan Fox in it. l may end up regretting it after wards but at the moment l’m really glad that l saw it. l may never have the same thoughts for Megan as l had before tho. This movie is rather violent. Especially to guys l mean some of the scenes were grouse and way too violent even for me. Still l think that horror fans have seen worse. l myself saw the first 3 minutes of ‘Freddy vs Jason’ and nearly pukes. But l’ getting far of topic here. The whole story line was nice. Made some sense but after all it’s a horror movie and those never really do make that much sense.l strongly recommend it for fans of the genre. As for Megan Fox fans. Watch out for this movie guys (talking to the male fans really) This is not the Megan Fox you’s wanna have dreams about at night. Unless you’re some kinda of a freakish pervert dude, in which case good for you.

“Aliens in the Attic” Movie Review

“Aliens in the Attic” Plot Summary

A group of kids must protect their vacation home from invading aliens.

    Enjoyable children movie

Aliens in the Attic is a movie that entertains for maybe 30 minutes. After that time I think that it turns a little foolish, unreal and very childish. the movie tells the story of a very dysfunctional family that rent a house on the lake for their vacations, what they don’t know is that the house is already habit by a group of aliens looking for a device to invade and conquer the Earth. The aliens can control the mind of adult people but not of teenagers and children, so it is the children of the family to protect their house, their family and the whole world. The story is very predictable, from the very beginning you can tell what is going to happen. The cast is good, the performances not that much. I love the role of Doris Roberts as the Grandma, she is very funny, Kevin Nealon is also very food as the dad. I think that it is already time for Ashley Tisdale to leave behind the roles of the spoiled high school teenager and the kids were good enough specially the little girl Ashley Boettcher. In conclusion, Aliens in the Attic is an entertaining and enjoyable movie specially for kids, then if you don’t have kids or you’re not one avoid it or wait for it until its on DVD.
