    “Shanghai Noon” Movie Review

    “Shanghai Noon” Plot Summary

Jackie Chan plays a Chinese man who travels to the Wild West to rescue a kidnapped princess. After teaming up with a train robber, the unlikely duo takes on a Chinese traitor and his corrupt boss. add synopsis

perfect blend of action and comedy, the funniest western ever

This movie is a perfect blend of action and comedy. This movie stars Jackie Chan as Chon Wang, one of the soldiers of the army of the forbidden city in China. When the princess leaves and goes to America it is up to Chon to bring her back. When he gets to Nevada, where most of the story takes place he meets Roy O’Bannon played by Owen Wilson u’ll ever meet. He is a wanted outlaw and in an odd chain of events they become a duo. This is the funniest western, this movie surpasses Blazing Saddles by far. Blazing Saddles is funny but the one-liners that Owen Wilson drop are just so hilarious. ‘I don’t know Karate but I do know crazy, and I will use it’. Lucy Lui also stars as the Princess This movie is definitely worth seeing but you kinda wanna steer clear of the sequel ‘Shanghai Knights’ It does not do the first film justice. I have never been able to complete the second one mainly because it is boring. But salutes to Shanghai Noon the funniest western to date. 9 out of 10

    “Fifth Element” Movie Review

    “Fifth Element” Plot Summary

In the colorful future, a cab driver unwittingly becomes the central figure in the search for a legendary cosmic weapon to keep Evil and Mr Zorg at bay.

    The Diva Cult

This is one of my Favorite Films of All Time . It contains all the elements necessary to keep me coming back time after time . The look of the film is extraordinary . Every scene is stunning . And then there’s the futuristic element . I love all things Sci – Fi . Humor comes next . This film is damn funny . And it never gets stale . Chris Tucker is a scream as Ruby Rhod . His manic , over the top persona made him an instant star if he wasn’t already .

The enigmatic Diva . She who has launched 1000 web sites . We want to know everything about her . Who is she in real life ? Where can you get that wonderful song ? She’s nothing less than thrilling . Thankfully there’s a new DVD of The Fifth Element that explains many aspects of the Diva as well as the rest of the movie . I highly recommend it .

But there’s one thing that’s missing . Not a complaint exactly . Maybe I really don’t want to know . So if you know don’t tell me . What in the world is with the Chocolate Syrup that drips down your face when you come in contact with the Super Evil force ? That is weird squared . So enjoy The Fifth Element and Bosco for everyone !

Two straight, single Brooklyn firefighters pretend to be a gay couple in order to receive domestic partner benefits.

Don’t listen to the bad reviews

Kevin James and Adam Sandler are hilarious in ‘I Now Pronoce You Chuck And Larry.’But where are all of the bad reviews coming from? And why was this movie nominated for so many Razzie awards? In case you don’t know,a Razzie is an award given to a movie for being bad or having a bad concept, such as worst actor or worst picture

    But why this movie?This is a funny,funny,and like I said,funny movie

Okay,so maybe the movie offends many types of people, including gays, fat people,Asians, and so on

But that’s one of the reasons why this movie is so dang funny

But if you are gay and you are reading this review, then I suggest you avoid this movie

That goes the same with fat people,Asians, etc

But if you’re looking for a belly full of laughs, then I highly recommend this movie.

“Three Ten To Yuma” Plot Summary

A small-time rancher agrees to hold a captured outlaw who’s awaiting a train to go to court in Yuma. A battle of wills ensues as the outlaw tries to psych out the rancher.

    excellent and exciting

Nice to finally see a decent modern western bring its way to the screen. Much in the style of westerns of old, lots of action, but it doesn’t move too quickly where all your seeing is shootouts and blood. The storyline is deep and powerful, all the characters are interesting and make sense, and just an overall enjoyable film

James Mangold puts himself on the board with this film, hopefully he continues to pump out future classics such as 3:10 to Yuma

Go out and watch this in theaters, and then buy it on DVD when it comes out. A movie well worth watching.8.5 from me, which fortunately for 3:10 to Yuma, rounds up to a 9.

Two cops team up to get back a kidnapped daughter.

    Worth every penny!

First, I am not a martial arts film fan. I am however someone who enjoys being entertained and this film does just that. Wrapped around a thin plot it is a buddy/buddy film that works. Just as Mel and Danny made the Lethal Weapon films work, Jackie and Chris fit together just as well. The clips they show you in the trailers are not the only good scenes in this movie, the films full of them. All in all, well worth the time and money.

“Titan A.E.: After Earth” Plot Summary

A young man learns that he has to find a hidden Earth ship before an enemy alien species does in order to secure the survival of humanity. add synopsis

    A film worth watching

Titan A.E. is well thought out and well developed. It is good adult animation in the same vein as Heavy Metal, while still being a movie for the family. Don Bluth scores one more triumph with his horde of animators and with the vocal talents of Matt Daimon, Drew Barrymore, Bill Pullman and Nathan Lane. The rest of the cast is also excellent. It does not have to be epic in nature to be fun to watch. I read some of the whinny comments from other reviewers and wonder how they can ever enjoy any movie when all they are doing is nitpicking. This film makes no pretense of being great art. It is simply an enjoyable story with good acting, excellent animation and a really fine sound score. And if an old man like myself can enjoy the music, younger people should also

I you have not seen it, by all means do. And don’t miss the making of feature after the end credits on the VHS and I am sure the DVD versions.

    “Jackie Brown” Movie Review

    “Jackie Brown” Plot Summary

A female flight attendant becomes a key figure in a plot between the police and an arms dealer. add synopsis

Personally, I find it to be Quentin Tarantino Masterpiece

Sometimes a movie requires more than one viewing. The first time I sat down to watch Jackie Brown, I wasn’t so impressed. I didn’t hate the movie, but I didn’t love it either. I thought it was decent. The second time I watched it, I knew the plot already so I really got to indulge in the characters of the film. And thats exactly what the film is, it’s a character piece

Those of you who expect an energetic, stylized, violent, comic book-esquire film like Pulp Fiction will not get that from this movie. Its a lot more tamed, and to say the least realistic. I love Pulp Fiction, its one of my all time favorite movies. But I doubt in the real world there would be two hit men in matching black and white suits. The scenarios of that movie, while fun and totally entertaining, aren’t too realistic. Jackie Brown on the other hand has totally real characters that don’t come off as too over the top

All the actors in the movie are superb

The lead is played by actress Pam Grier who nails the role. Tarantino again shows you don’t need an a-list actor to carry a movie. Grier plays Jackie Brown, an airline stuartess in her 40s. Samuel L. Jackson plays Ordell Robbie, a gun dealer who uses Jackie to bring him in money from Mexico. Robert DeNiro (in a smaller role for such a big actor) plays Louis, Ordell’s friend who recent got out of jail. Bridget Fonda plays Melanie, a ‘blonde haired surfer girl’ who lives with Ordell. Michael Keaton (my all time favorite actor)plays ATF agent Ray Nicollette who wants to take down Ordell. And Robert Forster plays Max Cherry, a bail bonds man. Without giving too much away, all of these characters in one way or another are all after $500,000 of Ordell’s money. Every character in this movie is great and unique in their own way. But for me, Robert Forster steals the show. Max Cherry is without a doubt my favorite character in all of Quentin Tarantino’s movies

To some people, this movie is just a crime/heist movie. But to me there is something quite beautiful to this movie. After a few viewings of the film, you will notice that underneath it all, this movie is really about two people. Jackie Brown and Max Cherry. Two people who are middle aged, lonely, and tired of their dead end jobs. Two people that meet in a very unlikely way. Two people that together figure out a way to steal $500,000 and get away with it. Take this movie however you want it. But to me, thats the heart of the movie, and thats why the movie works so well

In conclusion, Jackie Brown is not a graphic crime story like Reservoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction that preceded it. Nor is it a stylized revenge saga like Kill Bill vol. 1 & 2 that followed it. Instead it is a stand alone film. A wonderfully acted character study. And for me, an absolute gem of a film. It’s Quentin Tarantino’s underrated MASTERPIECE.

After an attempted assassination on Ambassador Han, Lee and Carter head to Paris to protect a French woman with knowledge of the Triads’ secret leaders.

GREAT……..i wish it was longer but it was great…GOOD

RushHour3 better then the first one and second. Yes it was short, but it’s doesn’t matter how long the movie is or how short as long as the people love and enjoy. That what counts and man when I saw this movie whole audience was non-stop laugh and a lot of claps…if Transformers didn’t had all those special effects and stuff than I would say Rushhour3 was more better than Transformers but Rushhour3 is a good movie. If you miss the first or second one it’s OK because you will still love and enjoy this movie won’t stop laughing till it’s over with the outtakes. This movie is worth going to the movies and watch again with your that haven’t seen it. You will just start to laugh how it starts off in the begin. People might say the movie was short but ask them if they enjoyed the movie and would watch it again? And they will simple reply yes or YES!! OF COURES.

    “The Machinist” Movie Review

    “El maquinista” Plot Summary

An industrial worker who hasn’t slept in a year begins to doubt his own sanity

    A new Raskolnikov

A strange story about freedom and guilty. Modern image of ‘Crime and Punishment’. Our life like a shadow of the dreams and fear. Like a research a way of personal truth. No salvation, no cure. Only a refuge in a great lie. This movie is an important experience. Not like a theoretical experience, like a game without value, like a joke. ‘The Machinist ‘ is a trip in your mind, in your memory, in the life’s essence. ‘I am the other’ said Rimbaud. But who? A ghost? A shadow? A body? A toy? The essence of movie is the relation with the world and the form of honesty. The presence of God in this movie is the way of resurrection. The car, the boy, the work accident, Maria, Ivan , Miller are the steps of a very special salvation. And Christian Bale, in his best character, a new Raskolnikov, know to give a great sense of truth to Trevor Reznik. A real master-piece!
