    “A Bronx Tale” Movie Review

    “A Bronx Tale” Plot Summary

A father becomes worried when a local gangster befriends his son in the Bronx in the 1960s.

    A Very Pleasant Surprise

I watched this film last night for the first time

I am a great fan of The Godfather trilogy but overall find the ‘gangster film’ genre just too violent and the use of F— word every other word tedious and numbing. When my husband suggested watching A Bronx Tale I intended to see much of the same bloodshed. I was to be pleasantly surprised

This wonderful movie quickly drew me in with its sensitive portrayal of its father and son and the soon to be introduced conflict of the relationship developed between the son and the local mob boss

Many reviewers have retold the story and so I will not waste time with another rehash. In the end it is a film full of love and sensitivity and a new, fresh look at the possibility that a Mafia boss can care and love a boy who does not share his blood and want the best for him and knows that the best is not to ‘be him’. C has the good fortune to have two men care deeply about his well being and his future. How many children are in this world who have no one who cares about how they turn out

Robert DeNiro proves that he is not only a gifted actor, but a wonderful, sensitive director with a keen sense of storytelling. And what can you say about Chazz Palminteri’s story and screenplay which is a reflection of his own youth? Amazing

What started out as a ‘I’ll sit through this movie because my husband wants to see it’ turned into a memorable two hours. I’ll watch it again and will recommend it to anyone who will listen. Bravo gentlemen!

“Arthur and the Invisibles” Movie Review

“Arthur and the Invisibles” Plot Summary

Ten-year-old Arthur, in a bid to save his grandfather’s house from being demolished, goes looking for some much-fabled hidden treasure in the land of the Minimoys, a tiny people living in harmony with nature. add synopsis

    Good Film

I was just reading the comment displayed on the front page of this film. And i was a bit confused where it was wrote, ‘I was disappointed with the animation!’ Which was stated by someone. I thought the animation of the film was the best part of the whole thing. How Arthur turns into a Minimoye to save his house & hopefully find his long lost Grandfather… So don’t listen to that fool who thinks the animation isn’t impressive. I thoroughly enjoyed the part also where sweet little Arthur comes in with the treasure / money to pay the nasty man for all their unpaid bills. This is one of my Favourite parts in the movie

But i cant go past the start of the film. I think the film starts magnificently and opens up the start of the film extremely well

I think and I’m sure many would agree, this movie is a fantastic fantasy that deserves a 10.

    Regards, Caitlin XxXxXxX

    “Analyze This” Movie Review

    “Analyze This” Plot Summary

A comedy about a psychiatrist whose number one-patient is an insecure mob boss.

This is a must-see, light-hearted and ever so funny movie which will lift your spirit up

I don’t even know where to start. I don’t want to tell you much about this film because I don’t want to spoil it for you by giving you account of the funny scenes. Moreover, that would be quite impossible anyway as the film is simply funny all the way through. Sure I have my favourite scenes, one in particular, which make me laugh just thinking about them. Seriously, this is a comedy with a great story and many laughs. As a matter of fact, I really laughed all the way through, from start to finish

I want to recommend you to lighten up and simply relax when you decide to watch it. Let go of any expectations or judgements. Simply watch and let the movie entertain you. It might seem as an obvious thing to do but it is easy to slip into that judgemental and critical feeling however subtle it might be, which will spoil any movie for you not just this one

I highly recommend this movie if you want to lift you spirit up for whatever reason as this movie will do it for you. It is my favourite and I do hope that it will be your favourite too.
